Harambean Founder: Ms. Maggy Nyamumbo H’09 of Kenya

Kahawa 1893 coffee is grown in Kenya and roasted fresh in San Francisco by Ms. Maggy Nyamumbo H’09, a third-generation coffee farmer. As of this past year, her products have been made available in Trader Joe’s and Target stores across the United States.

Harambean Founder: Ms. Rakhee Shah H’13 of Kenya Maisha Concept is a globally inspired fashion and lifestyle brand aimed at the globally conscious consumer. The label is the brainchild of designer, entrepreneur and former banker, Rakhee Shah H’13.  Maisha means “giving life” in Swahili, and through Maisha’s contemporary designs; Ms. Shah aims to resurrect the culture, heritage and skill of local artisans and textile manufacturers across the globe.

Harambean Founder: Ms. Akosua Koranteng H’19 of South Africa

 

ANiM Naturals is a Cape Town based cosmetics company that manufactures natural hair and skincare products made from sustainably sourced ingredients from across the African continent. We are on a mission to empower people to feel beautiful, naturally. Ghanaian born South African, Akosua Koranteng H’19, founded the company originally under the trading name AKAN Organics. The brand underwent rebranding, image and product renewal and was reintroduced to the market as what it is now known as – ANiM Naturals.
